About the Role
We are seeking a highly hands‑on Network & Cloud Security Engineer with deep Cisco networking and security expertise and strong AWS cloud infrastructure implementation experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure from scratch, including secure network architecture
- Lead AWS security protocol implementation (IAM, security groups, NACLs, logging, encryption, etc.) — not just monitoring
- Design and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control
- Hands‑on configuration and support of Fortigate firewalls, including VPNs and WAN connectivity
- Cisco network security support across firewalls, routing, and access controls
- Implement security best practices across hybrid network and cloud environments
- Work closely with infrastructure and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
- Act as an escalation point for complex network and security design challenges
Required Skills
- Strong Cisco network and security background, including Cisco ISE
- Hands‑on security specialist with a focus on building Splunk SIEM capability from the ground up while redesigning and optimising the Rapid7 platform.
- Proven Fortigate firewall experience (configuration and troubleshooting)
- Solid WAN and network security architecture experience
- Hands‑on AWS cloud infrastructure implementation experience (must-have)
- Demonstrated experience building AWS environments from the ground up, not just optimisation
- Practical experience implementing AWS security controls and protocols
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver solutions in fast‑paced environments
