About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Level 1/2 IT Support Engineer.
 
This is a 6-month contract role with long term extension options available if required, located at our client’s Melbourne Office (On-site). Open for Australian Citizens only.
 
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Triage, classify and resolve inbound requests and incidents within agreed service levels, often dealing directly with users.
- Provide level 1 and 2 support across the full ICT environment, including end-user devices, M365 services and hearing room videoconferencing systems
- Take an active part in Change, Incident and Problem Management.
- Maintain systems at supported versions by applying patches and updates, helping keep a secure, low-risk environment.
To be successful in this role you ideally should have experience in:
- An Active Directory / cloud identity environment (on-premises AD synced with Entra ID).
- Microsoft 365 systems administration – Exchange Online, Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID.
- Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows) and Microsoft 365 apps.
- ITSM IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.
