This position sits within the procurement execution and onboarding stream, working closely with senior legal, IT, procurement, and commercial stakeholders. The environment is fast‑paced, structured, and offers significant exposure to enterprise‑wide technology uplift.
Key Objectives of the Role
You will play a central role in transitioning a large portfolio of applications into newly established procurement and contract processes.
Key objectives include:
- Supporting the onboarding of 50–60 existing applications into updated procurement and commercial frameworks
- Managing procurement activity across multiple licensing waves, covering:
- Small licence renewals ($10k–$30k)
- Large enterprise platforms (e.g., major HR/ERP systems)
- Core IT and OT applications
- Ensuring full commercial, legal, and procurement compliance during the transition from legacy environments
- Maintaining continuity of supply while navigating complex vendor, contract, and stakeholder landscapes
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing IT procurement tasks aligned to procurement policies and governance requirements
- Reviewing, updating, and managing existing contracts and commercial terms
- Working closely with internal legal, procurement, IT, and business teams
- Managing vendor relationships and ongoing contract performance
- Supporting procurement onboarding processes for a large application transition
- Mitigating commercial and operational risk throughout the transition period
- Operating autonomously and navigating complex processes with minimal supervision

What We’re Looking For A capable, confident IT procurement specialist who thrives in structured, high‑volume environments.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 2–5+ years’ experience in IT procurement or IT category management
- Strong skills in contract review, negotiation, and commercial oversight
- Experience managing software licensing, enterprise platforms, SaaS, and/or OT technologies
- Excellent understanding of procurement governance, compliance, and risk management
- Ability to manage multiple applications and contracts simultaneously
- Comfortable engaging with senior IT, legal, and procurement stakeholders
- Experience in utilities, heavy industry, gas, or energy (highly desirable but not essential)
- High‑impact role in a major enterprise transformation
- Immediate, clearly defined workload
