A fast-growing healthcare technology company is seeking an IT Operations Lead to take ownership of internal IT support and systems across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on ensuring internal IT systems are reliable, secure, and well supported. You will work closely with employees across the business, supporting day-to-day IT needs while improving processes, tooling, and service delivery. You will also act as the key point of contact for internal IT issues and improvements, working closely with external partners and the wider business to keep systems running smoothly.

This is a player-coach style role where you will be actively involved in technical delivery as well as coordination of IT operations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Managing internal IT systems including Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and password management tools
• Supporting onboarding, offboarding, account setup, and access management using identity and device management tools
• Providing day-to-day IT support and ensuring internal SLAs are met
• Managing IT assets including hardware, software, and cloud resources
• Supporting IT projects, upgrades, and internal system improvements
• Assisting with disaster recovery and business continuity processes and testing
• Acting as the main internal IT contact across the business
• Supporting IT governance, security policies, and compliance requirements with external partners
• Assisting with responsible use and governance of AI tools across the business

About You

You are a hands-on IT engineer or senior systems professional who enjoys being close to the technology and supporting users directly.

You will bring:
• Strong experience in internal IT support or systems engineering roles
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, identity/access management, and collaboration tools
• Experience supporting onboarding/offboarding and IT asset management
• Exposure to IT service delivery and ticketing environments
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in improving systems, processes, and automation

Experience in healthcare, regulated, or compliance-focused environments will be highly regarded.
