About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IP Network Integration and Test Engineer to support the design, integration, and deployment of next-generation IP-based platforms. This role requires full-time, five-day onsite attendance and a consistent physical presence in the workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and cases for IP products.
- Perform end-to-end system integration testing of complex IP/MPLS networks.
- Validate the functionality and performance of advanced IP/MPLS protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS-TP, Segment Routing, EVPN, and QoS.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues by analysing complex problems, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
- Support customer trials and deployments by providing technical expertise and support during escalations.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in IP networking, integration, and testing roles.
- Hands-on experience with IP routing platforms.
- Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, as well as MPLS technologies including LDP and RSVP-TE.
- Proficiency with network test equipment like IXIA or Spirent, and scripting skills in Python and automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework).
- Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and debug complex network issues.
- Relevant industry certifications such as NRS II, or equivalent (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE).
- Experience with NFV, SDN, cloud-native IP solutions, and Linux system administration skills.
