Location: Melbourne, Bendigo, Brisbane or Adelaide
Work Type: Initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or future permanency
Work Arrangement: Hybrid | 2 days per week in the office

We're partnering with a major Australian bank to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their People & Culture team. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR and people-related enquiries from employees and leaders.
  • Provide advice and support across a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations and case management.
  • Manage and resolve HR cases through an enterprise service management or ticketing system.
  • Respond to HR and operational queries via phone and case management platforms.
  • Support leaders with workplace issues, policy interpretation and people-related decision-making.
  • Escalate and coordinate more complex matters as required.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping across all cases and enquiries.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
About You
  • 1–2+ years of experience in an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner support, HR Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors.
  • Previous experience using an enterprise service management platform or ticketing system.
  • Strong exposure to employee relations and managing HR case work.
  • Comfortable handling enquiries via phone and case management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels and providing practical HR advice.
