Our client is one of Australia's most exciting technology companies, developing a market-leading platform that combines cloud software, connected IoT devices and real-time data to help customers monitor critical assets and make smarter decisions.
They're looking for a Full Stack Developer who enjoys building modern products from the ground up and wants to have genuine influence over the direction of the platform. This isn't a role where you'll spend your days fixing legacy systems. You'll be building new features, solving interesting engineering challenges and working alongside a collaborative product and engineering team that's passionate about delivering great software.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be working across the full stack using modern technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js and AWS to deliver customer-facing applications, APIs and platform enhancements.
You'll be involved in:
• Designing and building modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Developing scalable Node.js services and REST APIs
• Building intuitive dashboards that surface real-time data from connected devices
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver new features
• Contributing to architecture and technical design decisions
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Participating in code reviews and helping drive engineering best practices
• Working within AWS environments and contributing to CI/CD and deployment processes
• Continuously improving the platform as the business continues to scale
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys building products—not just writing code.
You'll ideally bring:
• 4+ years' commercial Full Stack development experience
• Strong React, TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience working with AWS
• Solid understanding of modern engineering practices, testing and code quality
• Experience working in Agile product teams
• A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for building great software
Bonus Points For
• Experience with IoT, telemetry or real-time data platforms
• Docker, Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience building SaaS products
• WebSockets or event-driven architectures
• An interest in working for a fast-growing Australian technology company
Please note:
This role is based in Roseville, Sydney and requires 4 days per week onsite, with 1 day working from home.
