An opportunity is available for an experienced Functional Analyst to join a large enterprise environment, supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 (CE) ecosystem.
This role plays a key part in bridging business requirements with technical delivery, working closely with stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams to design scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions.
About the Role You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, translating them into functional designs, and supporting the configuration and enhancement of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll ensure outcomes align with business strategy, governance standards, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams to understand business processes and requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs
- Configure Dynamics 365 (CE) modules and Power Apps to meet business requirements
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including functional designs, workflows, and system changes
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, security, and compliance requirements
- Support delivery within Agile/Scrum project environments
You are a confident Functional Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and hands-on experience within the Microsoft enterprise ecosystem. You enjoy problem-solving, take pride in quality documentation, and thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Functional Analyst or similar role in an enterprise IT environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 (CE)
- Demonstrated ability to create functional specifications and design documentation
- Experience delivering solutions in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of enterprise governance, security, and compliance principles
- Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant certification (desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
