We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Technical Developer to join a major QLD Government department and support key digital transformation and data initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building enterprise-grade solutions, working with modern Microsoft technologies, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible for delivering robust, scalable applications and integrations across Dynamics 365, .NET, Azure, Power Platform, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
As the Dynamics 365 Technical Developer, you will:
- Develop and customise enterprise applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and .NET.
- Design and build Model‑Driven Apps and custom solutions within the Dynamics 365 environment.
- Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflows, and web resources.
- Design, implement, and support integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
- Build and maintain Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory pipelines to support data movement and system integrations.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for business intelligence and analytics.
- Deliver dashboards and visualisations across Dynamics 365 and the broader Power Platform.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to develop fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
- Prepare high‑quality technical documentation and support ongoing solution enhancements.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 4+ years’ experience as a Dynamics 365 Technical Developer (or similar).
- Proven experience developing enterprise applications using Dynamics 365 and .NET.
- Strong hands‑on experience building Model‑Driven Apps.
- Solid integration experience between Dynamics 365 and external systems.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience developing and maintaining Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory pipelines.
- Experience designing and building Power BI dashboards.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365, .NET, and Azure architecture.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Experience with cloud‑based integrations and modern application architectures.
