About the role:
This position plays a key leadership and coordination role within the Digital Solutions & Services function. You’ll mentor a small team, guide system improvements, and provide specialist support across the full lifecycle of digital platforms—covering analysis, configuration, testing, training, and ongoing operational support. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll champion smarter workflows, better user experiences, and stronger information management practices while ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a small, dynamic technical team, help the team to collectively and individually grow and develop.
- Support the digital transformation of the wider business, including collaboration with various stakeholders across the business from entry level team members to C level executives.
- Assist in evaluating and refining business systems, processes, and digital workflows to lift service quality and operational efficiency. Coordinate system testing, user training, and post‑implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new or upgraded digital solutions.
- Contribute to documentation, reporting, and configuration tasks across business systems, including data integration activities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and stay informed of emerging technologies relevant to digital service delivery.
Key Skills
- Proven background as a business analyst or business systems analyst supporting digital platforms such as TechOne is a must, ideally in a local‑government or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of process mapping, workflow optimisation, and systems integration.
- Experience managing system upgrades, coordinating testing cycles, and delivering engaging training and onboarding activities.
- Solid grasp of information governance, including data protection, privacy standards, and compliance obligations.
- Proven experience in building strong professionally relationships and solid stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical areas. Excellent communication abilities, with confidence working collaboratively.
