Digital Communications Adviser
Location: Brisbane
Contract:  3 months + Potential extension

We are seeking an experienced Digital Communications Adviser to manage and enhance a large, multi‑site digital environment across websites, intranet and social media platforms. This role plays a key part in ensuring digital content is accurate, accessible, engaging and aligned with organisational standards and customer expectations.

About the role Reporting to a senior digital communications leader, you will provide specialist professional advice and hands‑on support across web content management, multimedia creation, social media and digital strategy. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, supporting business units to communicate effectively through digital channels.

This is a technically hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, improving systems, and enabling others to succeed in a digital environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer and support multiple corporate websites and an intranet using content management systems (CMS)
  • Maintain and update digital content to ensure accuracy, accessibility and compliance with standards
  • Convert complex materials into digital formats, including e‑newsletters, online forms and surveys
  • Provide high‑level technical support and resolve complex issues related to web, multimedia and digital platforms
  • Create and manage digital assets including video, photography and audio content
  • Support and improve organisational social media channels, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
  • Train and support non‑technical staff to create and maintain web and intranet content
  • Contribute to and maintain digital standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Use analytics and reporting to inform improvements and support decision‑making
About you
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex websites and intranet platforms using CMS tools
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and online form builders
  • Proven ability to deliver training to non‑technical users
  • Experience creating and managing multimedia content (video, images, audio)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines
  • Experience developing innovative digital solutions and contributing to digital strategy
