About the Role:
This position involves supporting and maintaining enterprise-level database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
The role requires installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, and monitoring these databases, both on-premises and in cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AWS RDS.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting performance, security, and stability issues, performing data extraction, backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities, and automating tasks using scripting languages on Linux and Windows.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud database services, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and AWS RDS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation on Linux and Windows using PLSQL and TSQL.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance, security, and stability issues effectively.
- Experience with backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Government sector experience will is highly regarded
