Join the our government client as a Data Engineer and be at the forefront of transformative data initiatives that shape the future of Queensland’s workforce.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures in hybrid cloud environments.
The Data Engineer will work with various data tools and platforms to ensure data is efficiently ingested, transformed, and stored for analytics and reporting purposes.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in data pipeline development and management
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management, including advanced SQL skills, SSIS, and SSRS
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools, such as Azure Synapse and data lakes
- Knowledge of data transformation processes using PySpark, PySQL, and delta format
- Ability to build and optimise large datasets for statistical and machine learning models
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining data pipelines
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- MS Fabric experience preferred
