Peoplebank is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Data & Analytics team within the Financial Planning & Analytics division. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Quality Improvement Initiatives by leveraging data to drive evidence-based decision-making and enhance overall performance, with a strong focus on student satisfaction and retention.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, assessing, and analyzing data from various business areas, ensuring its relevance and usability. You will manipulate data as needed, produce reports, and develop quality metrics that lead to actionable outcomes. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, linking technical and non-technical resources to deliver impactful insights. Ths role is located based in the South Eastern suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Develop and maintain Measure Definitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports, maintaining user access and permissions.
- Collaborate with IT and data specialists to implement centralized processes and workflows.
- Support the implementation and testing of new analytics tools and technologies.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of reports and monitor progress with stakeholders.
- Identify trends and patterns to inform resource optimization and improve business performance.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance, privacy, and security standards.
- Develop training materials and deliver presentations to support adoption of new systems and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and reporting capabilities.
- PowerBi skills (with knowledge of RLS) and also with the ability to analyse data in Excel as and when required. Knowledge/experience with Snowflake, Alteryx and Matillion
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data wrangling and manipulation.
- Solid understanding of data governance principles and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience with data warehouse design and database systems is highly desirable.
