Aboud the role:
We need a Cyber Security Architect to drive our Essential Eight uplift, assess current cyber posture, and design future‑state security architecture. You’ll also lead the development of cyber security policies and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current cyber security controls, architecture, processes, and maturity levels.
- Develop and deliver a transition roadmap to uplift Essential Eight maturity.
- Design future‑state cyber security architecture aligned with strategic goals.
- Create, review, and refine cyber security policies, standards, and governance documentation.
- Collaborate with technology, risk, and executive teams to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Provide expert security guidance on controls, risk mitigation, and implementation pathways.
- Present findings and architectural recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Proven background as a Cyber Security Architect or similar senior security role.
- Strong experience with the Essential 8 Maturity Model and uplift programs.
- Demonstrated capability in assessing and designing secure architectures.
- Experience developing cyber security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of modern security domains: identity, endpoint, cloud, and network.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
