About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Cyber Security Architect. This is a long-term contract role for an initial 12 months
with two 12-month extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office (onsite, with some flexibility – must be Canberra based).
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Provide technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs on security architecture best practices
• Review and provide guidance on application and system integration designs aligned to PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight
• Lead cyber security uplift initiatives in line with ACSC and ASD directives
• Support the design and implementation of secure ICT solutions and services
• Raise awareness of cyber security risks across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive implementation of the Essential Eight, including technical uplift and stakeholder engagement
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Must hold NV1 clearance and be Canberra-based
• Demonstrated Federal Government experience reducing cyber security vulnerabilities and uplifting capability through secure-by-design practices
• Proven experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, particularly in cyber security architecture
• Demonstrated experience reviewing and providing cyber architecture guidance for application and system integration aligned to PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight
It is desirable if you have:
• Understanding of Operational Technologies (OT) environments
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens
with Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1)
clearance.
