An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Delivery Lead Coordinator to lead the delivery of a major Essential Eight Uplift Initiative within a Queensland Government cyber security program.
This role will oversee multiple technical and business workstreams to support implementation of the ASD Essential Eight framework and drive cyber security maturity uplift outcomes across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Essential Eight Uplift Initiative
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, dependencies and delivery activities
- Manage project schedules, governance, risks, issues and reporting
- Engage with senior stakeholders, cyber security specialists and business teams
- Support maturity assessments, uplift planning and implementation activities
- Ensure alignment with cyber security frameworks, policies and enterprise priorities
- Drive collaboration across technical, operational and business stakeholders
- Proven experience delivering complex ICT, cyber security or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and delivery management skills
- Experience managing governance, reporting, risks and schedules in large environments
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver outcomes in complex organisations
- Strong understanding of cyber security governance and risk management
- Experience with ASD Essential Eight, NIST CSF or ISO 27001
- Queensland Government or public sector experience
- Agile or hybrid delivery methodology experience
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira or similar tools
