Lead a major Microsoft Dynamics CRM upgrade across a critical statewide system.
The strategic projects team is delivering a high‑priority Dynamics Upgrade Project, ensuring continued stability, security and support for a key statewide CRM platform.
We’re seeking an experienced CRM Technical Specialist to deliver on‑premises upgrades from CRM 2015/2016 to Dynamics 365 V9.0, while supporting future CRM strategy and potential cloud transition work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the upgrade of CRM 2016 (IFD) to Dynamics 365 V9.0 on‑prem
- Support follow‑up upgrade of CRM 2015 to V9.0
- Analyse current customisations, plugins, workflows and integrations
- Deliver migration plans with minimal business disruption
- Conduct pre/post‑migration testing and data validation
- Implement CRM customisations, plugins, workflows and security models
- Provide technical guidance on integrations and external ASP.NET applications
- Work closely with infrastructure teams on ADFS, authentication and deployment needs
- Document architecture, customisations and integration points
- Contribute to future CRM roadmap and platform assessments
- 5+ years’ hands‑on experience with Dynamics CRM (2013–2016, D365)
- Proven CRM on‑prem upgrade/migration experience
- Critical: Internet Facing Deployment (IFD) + claims‑based authentication
- Strong ADFS knowledge and experience with external-facing CRM deployments
- Deep technical skills in forms, entities, workflows, JS, plugins (C#, CRM SDK)
- Experience with Power Platform tools
- Understanding of SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS and AD basics
- Ability to collaborate with infrastructure teams (servers/networking handled by them)
