About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking Cloud Solutions Architect.
This is a long-term contract role 12 months initial contract
with 2 x 12-month extension options, located at our client’s ACT office (onsite working arrangements; limited remote flexibility may be considered).
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Design high-level and detailed Azure-based cloud solutions aligned to business requirements
• Develop reusable architecture patterns and technical design artefacts (HLDs/DLDs)
• Implement and administer Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Work across hybrid network environments including virtual networks and ingress patterns
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, cyber security, and cloud operations teams to secure design approvals
• Apply security best practices including ISM, OWASP, and Essential Eight
controls
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into Azure-based solution designs (HLD/DLD and reusable patterns)
• Strong experience implementing and administering Azure services, including Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps
• Proven ability to build relationships and work with stakeholders across architecture, security, and operations teams
• Solid understanding and application of information security frameworks, including ISM
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience across a broad range of cloud technologies including Azure AI, ML, Cognitive Services, data platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, and integration/API architectures
• Experience working in Agile environments with minimal supervision
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens
with Baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain).
