About the Role As the Change Control & Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for leading end‑to‑end technical change activities, including change planning, documentation, approvals, execution and post‑implementation reviews. You will work closely with project managers, infrastructure teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure changes are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with banking governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end‑to‑end change control and implementation process
- Raise and govern technical changes in line with ITIL and banking risk frameworks
- Develop and coordinate detailed change documentation and implementation run sheets
- Lead and coordinate multiple technical resources across matrix environments
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to banking security, regulatory and control standards
- Facilitate change approvals through governance forums
- Communicate change status, risks, impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders
- Manage implementation schedules, including change windows and moratoriums
- Drive post‑implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience as a Change Control and/or Implementation Manager
- Mandatory experience working in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of ITIL‑based change management within regulated organisations
- Experience delivering major or high‑risk technical changes
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments including cloud platforms, networks, Wintel, Linux and storage
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership capabilities
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar change management tools (highly desirable)
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, matrix environment
- Tertiary qualification in Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
