Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Business Analyst. This is a long-term contract role from 02 March 2026 to 30 June 2026 with no extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office with flexible working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Analyse existing PRISMS API technical documentation and onboarding materials to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
• Rework and restructure PRISMS API technical documentation and onboarding guidance to improve clarity and usability for external providers and vendors
• Develop and guide high-level functional and non-functional requirements for unauthenticated GovCMS content and authenticated Azure APIM Developer Portal content
• Translate complex technical API behaviours and lifecycle stages into clear, developer-friendly documentation
• Work closely with DEWR architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders to validate documentation
• Support coordination and readiness of documentation for release to Azure APIM and GovCMS
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Strong experience analysing and improving complex technical documentation, particularly API and integration documentation
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with architects, technical SMEs, and business stakeholders
• Experience producing clear, accurate written process documentation, including onboarding and lifecycle content
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in large or complex government environments
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience working with Azure APIM and/or GovCMS platforms
• Exposure to education sector systems or large-scale government digital platforms
• Experience supporting API onboarding for external vendors or service providers
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance.
