Why this role matters

You’ll sit within the Business Readiness workstream, partnering with business and technology teams to shape future-state operating models, uplift process maturity, and ensure the organisation is ready for SAP S/4HANA. The work spans end‑to‑end process optimisation, stakeholder engagement, requirements, and data-driven reporting, with a sharp focus on early business value and measurable outcomes.
Must-Haves (Non‑Negotiable)
  • SAP S/4HANA – Mandatory.
Solid commercial experience in at least one of the following project types (more is better):
    • Implementation (Greenfield)
    • System Conversion (Brownfield)
    • Selective Data Transition / Hybrid
    • Migration (ECC to S/4HANA)
  • Demonstrated BA delivery on ERP programs in large/complex environments.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear problem statements, success measures, and actionable requirements that align to standard S/4HANA process templates and minimised customisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis across the Business Readiness program: current‑state analysis, future‑state design, gap/impact assessments, and value Realisation metrics.
  • Run workshops, interviews, and presentations with cross‑functional stakeholders to elicit, validate, and prioritise requirements.
  • Optimise end‑to‑end processes (EAM/finance/procurement/supply chain touchpoints) aligned to S/4HANA leading practices, reducing workarounds.
  • Develop business cases, options papers, and benefits measures that support decision-making and governance.
  • Oversee delivery of dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics that enable transparency and readiness tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement and readiness initiatives (e.g., data, testing enablement, cutover inputs, controls, reporting).
  • Partner with project, change, data, testing and integration teams; operate effectively in a matrix environment with multiple workstreams.
  • Communicate complex topics in plain language to technical and non‑technical audiences; influence senior stakeholders.
About You
  • 5+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments.
  • Track record delivering on ERP programs, with hands-on S/4HANA analysis across implementation / migration / conversion / greenfield / brownfield.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement: influence, negotiation, expectation management.
  • Excellent documentation: process maps, requirements, user stories, business cases, executive presentations.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high‑pressure programs with multiple priorities and dependencies.
  • High EQ and strong decision-making; risk/issue management through critical phases (e.g., cutover/go‑live readiness).
  • Experience collaborating with virtual and cross‑functional teams.
Highly Desirable
  • Government or large enterprise transformation experience.
  • Exposure to EAM domains and asset-centric processes.
  • SAP Activate methodology familiarity.
  • BPMN process modelling (e.g., SAP Signavio).
  • Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA).
