We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support and enhance an advanced Graph Analytics capability within a secure, collaborative environment.
This role focuses on developing and optimising scalable data pipelines and ETL solutions that integrate multiple disparate data sources. You will work within a multi-vendor and in-house delivery team to enable real-time analytics and data connectivity, supporting operational intelligence and advanced data analysis use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processes across multiple disparate data sources
- Implement Azure-based data engineering solutions using Synapse, Spark and Python
- Support and enhance graph analytics capabilities within a secure environment
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and technical teams to ensure high-performance data integration
- Contribute to testing, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of data platform capabilities
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Azure data engineering (Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Spark required)
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering and transformation workflows
- Experience building and maintaining complex ETL/data pipeline solutions
- Exposure to graph analytics databases or graph-based data modelling (highly desirable)
- Experience working within secure, regulated or government environments (preferred)
