Why this role exists With demand growing and a team member relocating overseas, we’re looking for a designer with a proven UI track record to step into a central, cross-functional position — someone ready to own the craft and detail of design from research to release.
What you’ll do
- Lead design across the full product lifecycle — from discovery and UX research to high-fidelity UI and dev handover.
- Deliver thoughtful, accessible, and scalable design for web, mobile, and tablet.
- Maintain and evolve a component-based UI design system in Figma.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and strategy to create cohesive experiences across an ecosystem of SaaS products.
- Explore and apply emerging AI tools in design workflows.
- Minimum 3 years of solid, hands-on UI design experience for digital products, ideally in fast-moving product environments.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing your visual design craft, interaction design, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven expertise in Figma — components, tokens, auto-layout, and design system management.
- Understanding of responsive behaviour, mobile design considerations, and front-end principles (CSS awareness, GitHub familiarity a plus).
- Interest in new AI-accelerated design tools (e.g. Cursor, Locofy, Vercel AI).
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to share knowledge with the team.
- Comfortable designing across multiple products and thinking platform-wide, not just feature-by-feature.
