About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in infrastructure, cloud, and automation testing to join a high-performing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud platforms, and DevOps practices, ensuring infrastructure and platform components are tested, validated, and delivered with the highest quality standards.
You’ll be responsible for testing and validating IaC implementations, CI/CD pipeline functionality, and configuration management solutions deployed across AWS and Azure environments, working closely with DevOps and platform engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments (Terraform, Ansible) for correctness, idempotency, and security compliance.
- Test and verify cloud infrastructure provisioning across AWS and Azure for correct configurations, performance, and access controls.
- Conduct container and platform testing for Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
- Create and maintain automated test suites using frameworks such as Robot Framework, PyTest, Postman, or custom Python/Bash scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment workflows.
- Use monitoring and logging tools to validate system behavior and post-deployment stability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to define test strategies, cases, and validation procedures for infrastructure and platform components.
- Support performance, security, and compliance testing across environments.
- Proven experience in infrastructure and cloud testing, preferably within secure or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and Bash/Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure infrastructure validation.
- Experience testing Kubernetes/OpenShift containerized environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
- Experience using test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, PyTest, Postman).
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Must hold Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance (required).
