The role:
The Solution Architect will lead the design and integration of technology solutions that support and enhance our business processes and IT infrastructure. In this role, you will align technology logic with our operating model’s integration and standardization needs, playing a key role in the success of our enterprise-wide architecture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain solution architectures that align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
• Organise and rationalise technology logic across business processes and IT infrastructure.
• Facilitate architectural design workshops and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Lead solution architecture decisions across complex projects and programmes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful integration and implementation.
• Apply formal architectural frameworks and principles, such as TOGAF.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in all proposed solutions.
Skills and Experience:
• 7+ years’ experience in the solution/technology architecture space, ideally within the Insurance or Financial Services sectors.
• Proven experience in developing enterprise-level solution architectures in large, complex environments.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build consensus around design decisions.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience working with formal architectural methods such as TOGAF.
• Hands-on solution design experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter.
• Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
