Service Desk Analyst – Government Department (6-Month Contract)
Are you a skilled and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst looking for your next challenge in a dynamic government environment? We’re seeking a motivated IT professional to provide technical support and maintain end-user computing environments across multiple regional sites.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role requiring physical presence across three regional locations (two in Collie, one in Bunbury). You’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality support services, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and hardware for a large government department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
- Support and maintain end-user standard operating environments across various devices, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Provision and troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, peripherals, and portable telephony devices.
- Participate in IT asset lifecycle management and enforce SOE policies.
- Travel between regional sites as required, adhering to safety and travel policies.
- Attend scheduled meetings and contribute to project status reporting.
Requirements:
- ICT qualifications or equivalent experience in medium/large organisations.
- Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with SCCM, VDI, Group Policy.
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid WA Driver’s Licence (C or C-A class) and willingness to travel between sites.
