About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior SAP Tester
for a long-term contract opportunity. This is a 12-month initial contract
with 2 x 12-month extension options, located in Canberra
with a hybrid working arrangement.
As the selected candidate, you will:
• Conduct IT application testing, including integration and system testing, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
• Provide input on cost estimates for testing activities.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure the quality of work.
• Provide status reports on activities and tasks.
• Guide and advise on change management in relation to testing matters.
• Co-ordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Implement software testing best practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Work on projects and business as usual (BAU) tasks in a collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role you should have:
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior SAP Tester, with expertise in FICO, HR, SRM, BI, and Interface testing.
• Experience in all aspects of the software testing lifecycle, including test plans, test estimates, test cases, execution, and test reports.
• Demonstrated experience delivering testing services in government or large-scale organisations.
• Experience in test automation for scripts and data creation.
• Ability to use and administer ALM Toolset of Quality Centre.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• A recognised tertiary degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Commerce.
• ISTQB Foundation Testing certification.
It is desirable if you have:
• Experience working with SAP ERP, SAP Fiori, and BW environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of change management principles in the context of testing.
Due to security clearance requirements
for this role ,
candidates must be Australian citizens
with the ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
