About the Role:
Our Utilities client is seeking a Senior Test Analyst/ Lead. This is a contract role until 31 December 2025, with potential extension options, located at our client’s Canberra office.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Maintain requirements, test plans, test cases, and defects in DevOps
- Test various enterprise software solutions and digital technology platforms to support the implementation of new systems and processes
- Develop and execute test cases derived from detailed requirements such as EUC, Security, Infrastructure, Voice and B2B
- Manage defects within the product and working with key stakeholders, such as External Service Providers, Business Analysts, End Users and Project Managers to deliver accurate and concise test results reports for each phase of testing
- Work across multiple business areas (field based and office based), this resource will provide testing services in a fast-changing environment, providing direct support to projects that transition to the new Digital solution and,
- Ensure each release of a solution is of a high quality and meets the expectations of the business via clear requirements traceability and test results reports.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Analyst
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools
- Experience mentoring and leading more junior team members
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or alternative technologies
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, including waterfall and agile
- Certification in testing or a related field
