This is a long-term contract role to 30 June 2026 with two possible 12-month extensions, located at our client’s Canberra or NSW office, with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate must work full-time on site for the first 3 months or until they are fully across the department’s ICT landscape, project objectives, and systems. Flexible work arrangements may be considered thereafter, with a requirement to be on-site at least 3 days per week.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Gather, define, and manage business and technical requirements
- Analyse system changes and develop appropriate system solutions and technical documentation
- Provide system analysis support for changes on the Siebel platform
- Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Document business specifications, functional and technical specifications, and defect resolutions
- Lead or mentor other team members and support quality assurance activities
- Contribute to risk management planning and report on project status to senior stakeholders
To be successful in this role you should have:
- 6 years of Siebel experience across multiple full lifecycle implementations
- At least 5 years' experience as a Systems Analyst
- Demonstrated experience in creating Siebel design documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience working in large government organisations
- Demonstrated experience running stakeholder workshops
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
