Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst.

This is a long-term contract role to 30 June 2026 with two possible 12-month extensions, located at our client’s Canberra or NSW office, with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate must work full-time on site for the first 3 months or until they are fully across the department’s ICT landscape, project objectives, and systems. Flexible work arrangements may be considered thereafter, with a requirement to be on-site at least 3 days per week.

As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Gather, define, and manage business and technical requirements
  • Analyse system changes and develop appropriate system solutions and technical documentation
  • Provide system analysis support for changes on the Siebel platform
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders
  • Document business specifications, functional and technical specifications, and defect resolutions
  • Lead or mentor other team members and support quality assurance activities
  • Contribute to risk management planning and report on project status to senior stakeholders

To be successful in this role you should have:
  • 6 years of Siebel experience across multiple full lifecycle implementations
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Systems Analyst
  • Demonstrated experience in creating Siebel design documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

It is desirable if you have:
  • Experience working in large government organisations
  • Demonstrated experience running stakeholder workshops
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities, with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
