As part of a small, highly skilled team, you’ll work closely with robotics and mechatronics engineers to build systems that seamlessly integrate hardware and software, enabling a fully automated Wire Additive Manufacturing process.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop innovative software solutions in Rust, C++ and related technologies.
- Build reusable libraries, APIs, and scalable platforms.
- Drive best practice in Agile, DevOps, testing and automation.
- Collaborate with robotics and mechatronics experts to optimise automated manufacturing.
- Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and product roadmaps.
- Mentor and share knowledge within the engineering team.
- Proven experience delivering complex software solutions in a production environment.
- Deep knowledge of Rust and/or C++; experience with CGAL, 3D modelling, path planning, Qt, or other UI frameworks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile, TDD, CI/CD, and modern DevOps culture.
- Adaptive mindset with a passion for problem solving and exploring AI-assisted tooling.
- Collaborative, hands-on engineer who thrives in a small, fast-moving team.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

- Adelaide preferred (hybrid model).
