As the selected candidate, you will:
- Address and reduce cybersecurity vulnerabilities through patching, configuration adjustments, and system upgrades.
- Manage the full vulnerability remediation lifecycle, including planning, change control, testing, and implementation.
- Contribute to the creation of automated patching strategies to ensure regular patch deployment in alignment with the ACSC Essential Eight framework.
- Deploy automated patching solutions for operating systems and applications across a wide range of technologies, including servers, workstations, and IoT devices.
- Apply group policies, Intune policies, or scripting methods to remediate configuration vulnerabilities on servers, workstations, mobile devices, and IoT devices.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Extensive experience in vulnerability remediation across multiple platforms, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 5+ years in IT Operations or System Administration, managing diverse infrastructure such as Windows Servers, Active Directory, SQL clusters, VMware, and IoT devices.
- Proven ability to deploy and configure enterprise tools, including Intune, Azure Update Manager, server monitoring systems, and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments and familiarity with ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks.
- Recent hands-on experience in vulnerability management within large enterprise, corporate, or government environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Cyber Security.
- Relevant industry cyber security certifications.
