This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with a 12-month extension (1 extension), located at our client’s offices across ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC, and WA, with hybrid working arrangements (minimum 3 days in office, 2 flexible days).
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAS Viya platform including upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting
- Provide expert support to SAS IMS users, resolving software and application issues
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise platform performance (e.g., query tuning, resource allocation)
- Support the NDIA's Integrity Management System (IMS), specifically the Visual Investigator (VI) platform, within the 'Crack Down on Fraud' program
- Collaborate with project teams and SMEs to ensure SAS platforms meet business and security requirements
- Contribute to an Agile project environment using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Minimum of two years’ experience working as a SAS Viya Administrator in a cloud computing environment
- Experience or familiarity with IMS and Visual Investigator
- Solid understanding of security concepts related to SAS Viya and cloud environments
- Experience working within Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including log analysis and root cause analysis
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes for managing application workloads
- Hands-on experience with SAS IMS
- Proficiency in SAS, Python, JSON, and Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of AWS services, particularly in relation to SAS Viya
- Deep knowledge and experience in SAS Viya administration
