About the Role:
The Senior Product Designer collaborates closely with stakeholders across risk, operations, and technology to gain a deep understanding of the organisation’s structure, policies, and operational needs. In this role, the designer is responsible for maintaining and building strong, productive relationships with key individuals, ensuring alignment between business objectives and design outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and drive the vision for digital product design and delivery across complex, large-scale financial services environments.
  • Provide strategic leadership in Cards and Payments, influencing the organisation’s approach to authorisation, settlement, tokenisation, and fraud prevention.
  • Translate market insights, regulatory requirements, and customer behaviours into innovative solutions that strengthen trust, resilience, and competitive advantage.
  • Guide enterprise-wide integration strategies, ensuring that platforms and systems are scalable, secure, and future-ready.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across risk, technology, operations, and business leadership, aligning diverse perspectives to achieve strategic outcomes.
  • Champion design excellence and influence decision-making at executive level through clear, compelling communication and thought leadership.

Skills and Experience
  • Recognised expertise in Fraud and Scam management, with a proven ability to lead the adoption of cutting-edge solutions that safeguard customers and reduce systemic risk.
  • Extensive experience delivering technology-enabled transformation at scale, particularly in regulated and complex operating environments.
  • Strong record of leadership within Agile delivery frameworks, fostering collaboration, empowerment, and high-performance cultures.
  • Deep understanding of global payments ecosystems and fraud prevention partnerships, with exposure to providers such as Visa, Mastercard, FIS, DXC, Ethoca, Fircosoft, RSA, and Pegasus.
  • Ability to operate at the nexus of technology, risk, and business strategy, driving innovation that delivers both commercial value and customer benefit.
