About the Role
Our reputed client is looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Specialist to evaluate, enhance, and optimise a complex Power BI dashboard environment integrating data from multiple agency sources. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, deep technical expertise, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality reporting solutions.
You will be responsible for reviewing the existing environment, identifying issues, implementing best-practice improvements, and ensuring robust documentation and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess the structure, performance, and layout of existing Power BI dashboards.
- Analyse the reporting environment to identify issues and implement effective improvements.
- Develop end-to-end operational and user documentation to support ongoing functionality.
- Conduct quality assurance across data ingestion, modelling, and visualisation components.
- Implement proactive monitoring mechanisms, including service-failure alerts.
Key Skills & Experience
- Advanced Power BI capability, including DAX, Power Query, modelling, and optimisation.
- Strong experience integrating and managing datasets from multiple systems and AWS services.
- Proven ability to design scalable, efficient dashboards aligned to best-practice standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
