Join Our Financial Services Client as a Senior Manager – COO Office

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for driving organizational excellence? We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead and support critical functions within the COO Office - Technology. In this influential role, you will champion strategy development, business planning, operational efficiency, and market insights—playing a pivotal part in shaping the future of our organization. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at cross-functional collaboration, and are passionate about delivering impactful results, this opportunity is for you. This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend.

Required Skills
  • Proven expertise in strategy management, including development, implementation, and performance monitoring
  • Strong business planning and resource management capabilities
  • Experience in operating model development and process optimization
  • Demonstrated ability in market research, benchmarking, and market engagement
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data synthesis and insight generation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing performance dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and facilitate alignment toward shared objectives
Nice to Have Skills
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and integration into strategic planning
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and budget oversight
  • Experience working within or alongside government or large enterprise organizations
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and thought leadership in strategic management
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy, business planning, or operational roles, ideally within complex organizations or agencies
Other Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship is required as this is a Federal Government Client, clearance is highly desirable
  • Willingness to engage in market research and peer networking activities
  • Ability to support and facilitate cross-functional workshops and strategic sessions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
