About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is currently seeking a  Senior M365/Cloud Engineer.
 
This is a 6-month  contract role with long term extension options and an exclusive opportunity, located at our client’s Canberra office with hybrid working arrangements.
 
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in the implementation and management of cloud-based SaaS solutions across the Microsoft 365, with strong skills in Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive.
  • Strong security mindset and experience in managing platform and endpoints with Azure RBAC and Microsoft Defender while adhering to government legislative obligations.
  • Detailed understanding of Data Loss Prevention, Archiving, eDiscovery, and Compliance in Purview.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with the Azure. Fundamental understanding of core network concept and application across the Azure services.
  • Sound understanding of Network components (including Azure Cloud services) such as routing, firewalls and network management and security principles.
  • Experience in SOE management using InTune and Applications Packaging, as well as management and delivery of Desktops and RemoteApp via Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD).
  • Proven knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft PowerShell and other automation technologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity working within ITSM Frameworks (such as ITIL etc.)
  • Capability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with end users, key stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills,
  • Proven capability to work within tight deadlines, exercise initiative and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Contribute towards knowledge transfer of skills and mentor staff as appropriate.
