A Leading Retail Company is seeking a Senior GCP Platform Engineer to design and build secure, scalable cloud platforms. You’ll act as a technical leader, driving cloud-native engineering, automation and DevOps best practice across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and implement enterprise GCP platform solutions
- Lead technical discussions on cloud-native architecture and platform engineering
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and cloud-native tooling
- Develop and manage secure CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Drive platform security uplift, vulnerability remediation and compliance guardrails
- Champion software engineering best practices across platform teams
- Influence adoption of DevOps and Agile ways of working
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Background in platform engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering
- Proficiency in Golang and experience with Terraform, YAML and JSON
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation-first solutions
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity and security concepts
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- GCP certifications
- Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA)
- Exposure to large enterprise or highly regulated environments
