Responsibilities
Leading and carrying out the full range of design, development and data migration tasks for a new large and complex Project including:
- Leading a small team of developers responsible for the technical design and building of custom solutions using Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), and Azure Services.
- Designing and executing data migration activities including mapping, transformation, and migration from legacy systems to D365.
- Collaborating with Project and ICT teams’ Business and Technical Analysts, and Architects for Integration, Security and Cloud
- Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including version control, branching strategies, and release management.
- Ensuring all solution design and build activities complies with development, architecture, governance standards and approved technology patterns.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Developer Role with recent experience in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development role
- Experience in the design and implementation of cloud applications and Dynamics 365 solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform customization and extension (D365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Skilled in development using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Liquid Templates
- Knowledge and understanding of tools for CI/CD, backlog management and data migration tools such as KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps and GIT
- Experience working and leading development in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Understanding and knowledge of good development practices for coding, unit testing and data migration for scalable code bases.
Desirable
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure and D365 such as PL-400, MB-600, or AZ-204.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Entra ID, .Net, and SQL Server.
- Experience working with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, APIM, Functions, Service Bus)
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies/approaches (Prince2, PMBOK, Lean, Agile).
- Experience with the UML for 4+1 modelling and in particular deployment diagrams.
- Experience in formally evaluating IT products and solutions.
