We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Cyber Security and Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join a dynamic and growing cyber delivery team. You will play a key role in driving cyber uplift initiatives focused on securing privileged access across cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
Working within a large and complex organisation, the ideal candidate will combine deep cyber domain knowledge with strong business analysis capabilities to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and define requirements for privileged access controls, roles, and attributes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess privileged roles across AWS and GCP environments, and support remediation activities aligned to PAM frameworks.
- Define and document target state processes for privileged access, including controls for passwordless authentication.
- Support delivery of cyber uplift initiatives in line with the Essential 8 Maturity Model, with a focus on advancing administrative privileges to Maturity Level 2.
- Work closely with stakeholders to produce clear and actionable artefacts including RACIs, operating models, process maps, and training materials.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, leading workshops and discussions to align solutions with enterprise cyber security strategies.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment of technical and process-based solutions and ensure project milestones are met.
- Extensive knowledge of Privileged Access Management principles, controls, and requirements.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure(AWS and GCP) and identifying, analysing, and remediating privileged access risks.
- Demonstrated experience implementing passwordless authentication solutions.
- Knowledge and experience delivering projects aligned to Essential 8, particularly around administrative privileges.
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex and large-scale environments.
- Expertise in mapping current and future state processes, uncovering hidden requirements, and identifying bottlenecks.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with formal BA methodologies and documentation standards.
