A leading healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Senior BI Analyst to provide professional expertise in data reporting, dashboard design, and analytics. The role involves developing and maintaining reliable tools, systems, and processes that turn complex datasets into actionable insights supporting both operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimise complex Power BI dashboards and interactive reports using best-practice data modelling and visualisation techniques.
  • Write and maintain advanced SQL queries to manage large and complex datasets, ensuring performance, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Lead the development and deployment of business intelligence solutions, including user acceptance testing, release management, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Define, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
  • Translate data into clear visual stories and actionable recommendations for senior management.

Key Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI (including data modelling, DAX, drill-throughs, bookmarks, filters, and performance optimisation).
  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying dashboards, reports, and analytical models in large-scale or complex environments.
  • Proven capability in KPI development and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data warehouse design, BI implementation, and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

Other Requirements
  • Full working rights (38 hours per week)
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence and willingness to travel within Metropolitan and Regional Victoria as required.
