Our client:
A global mining client that has been established for over 20 years with a focus on green energy solutions.
The role:
We are seeking multiple Senior Backend Developers with strong . NET/ C# to design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services for various mining and fleet management software development projects. This is a long term project until September 2026 in the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and Engineering SMEs
- Design reviews, system architecture and design patterns
- Lead the technical delivery of complex user stories from solution design to deployment
- Mentoring of junior developers
- Recent , strong backend development experience using .NET Core/ C#
- Experience working within a mining environment
- Familiarity with Entity Framework, Microservices Architecture, Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Agile / Scrum Development Methodology
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- You must be willing to work 5 days in the Perth CBD office
Desirable:
- Experience working on fleet management AND/ OR Autonomy solutions in a mining environment is advantageous
- Development using RabbitMQ is desirable
