We are currently seeking an experienced Security Specialist for our key State Government client. This is a contract until June 2026 with potential extensions as well.
Responsabilities:
The Cyber Security Specialist will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts from teams such as Solution Architecture and Data Centre, while also fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the client organisation.
- Conduct security requirements analysis, and develop security architecture and solutions in alignment with agency, state, and federal standards, policies, procedures, and legislation
- Practical implementation and configuration of security infrastructure and applications, including the development of As-Built documentation in line with established change and release management processes.
- Conducting testing and resolving issues related to solution implementation
- Proven expertise in technical design across multiple areas of information security architecture
- Network isolation and segmentation practices
- Vulnerability and Compliance management platforms
- Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms
- Identity & Access Management Services (IDAM, PAM, MFA etc)
- Cloud-based solutions and services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Traditional and software defined networking
- Enterprise Firewalls and Load Balancers
- VPN Solutions, Remote Access Solutions
- Logging, Auditing, Monitoring and Alerting
