ABOUT THE ROLE

A major Federal Government program is seeking a Scheduling and Reporting Analyst to develop integrated project schedules and build reporting dashboards that support planning and execution.

You'll work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure accurate scheduling and resourcing data for informed decision-making.

This is a great opportunity to grow your project controls and data visualisation skills in a high-profile, complex environment.

  • Daily rates between $700 - $800/day inc super

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules using MS Project, ensuring resource accuracy and schedule integrity across infrastructure and engineering workstreams.
  • Create Power BI dashboards to monitor progress, performance, and resource use.
  • Conduct critical path and variance analysis to identify risks and support corrective actions.
  • Align schedules with rolling wave planning, change management, and governance timelines.
  • Report earned value metrics (SPI, CPI, Finish Variance) to stakeholders and support client presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduling standards and share insights to enable data-driven decisions across project teams.

ABOUT YOU


Mandatory requirements

  • Australian Citizenship is required for this position
  • Must be able to undergo and obtain Australian Defence security clearance up to NV1
  • Atleast 3 years experience project scheduling with Microsoft Project
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and visual report design.
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple project sources.

Preferred additional skills:

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Experience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development.
  • Knowledge of Monte Carlo analysis and schedule risk assessment.
  • Experience with task scheduling and resourcing in Project Online
  • Experience with SSI Tools for Microsoft Project
  • Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) or infrastructure project environments.
