The EL1 SAS Integration Engineer plays a pivotal role in developing, executing, and managing integration solutions using the SAS platform. This professional ensures seamless data exchange between systems, applications, and data sources, enabling optimized communication
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be Australian citizens to meet the eligibility and suitability requirements. Proof of citizenship will be required prior to engagement.
- Design and implement secure data integration pipelines to transfer information between the SAS platform and various sources (e.g., APIs).
- Leverage expertise in the SAS platform to establish and optimize integration points with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Transform data formats using SAS tools for manipulation and transformation.
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and quality throughout integration processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during data integration or analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
- A degree in an ICT-related discipline or equivalent certifications.
- Experience as a SAS Integration Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Viya, Visual Investigator, and scripting languages such as SAS 9.x, SAS Macro, Python, and HashiCorp Terraform.
- A solid understanding of security practices and API concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile development frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming).
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Visual Investigator.
- Experience with SAS IMS, specifically its application in fraud investigations.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud environments.
- Expertise in scripting for API interrogation and utilization.
