About the Role
This position will work in collaboration with business subject matter experts, system integrators, and internal teams to deliver reporting and analytics capabilities across Finance, Procurement, Projects, Asset Management, and HR. The focus will be on understanding reporting needs, developing functional specifications, configuring standard content, and validating delivery of SAC dashboards, CDS-based reports, and integrated data models.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse detailed reporting requirements.
- Map business needs to data sources and assess gaps in standard SAP content.
- Review and prepare functional specifications, mock-ups, and acceptance criteria.
- Configure, validate, and optimise SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and SAC models.
- Review and enhance CDS views and data models in S/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
- Ensure compliance and data governance in all reporting solutions.
- Conduct design reviews, support user acceptance testing, and provide training documentation.
- Support post-implementation reporting and troubleshoot data issues with internal and vendor teams.
- Proven experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboard design and data modelling.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Datasphere, CDS views, ABAP Core Data Services, and SAP virtual data models.
- Strong knowledge of reporting and data structures across core ERP domains (Finance, HR, Procurement, Projects, Asset Management).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into functional and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with regulatory or compliance reporting requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience conducting workshops and reviews.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori analytical apps and KPI tiles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Synapse and Data Factory integration with SAP.
- Understanding of data governance and legislation frameworks at the Commonwealth level.
