SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant

Location: Brisbane CBD - Minimum two days a week in the office but this can be “averaged” across the month
Contract:12 Months + option to extend
Rate: Hourly market rate
Hybrid working arrangements

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant to join a major ERP transformation program. This role focuses on delivering advanced planning and reporting solutions within the Finance domain as part of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation.

About the Role
You will work closely with project managers, business SMEs, and system integrators to design, build, and implement SAC planning solutions. This includes translating business requirements into functional and technical designs, configuring SAC models, and ensuring seamless integration with Datasphere and S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and configure SAC planning solutions, including scripts, data actions, advanced formulas, and allocations.
  • Develop SAC models and dimensions for enterprise-scale environments.
  • Ensure integration between SAC, Datasphere, and S/4HANA.
  • Support workshops, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver outcomes on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years in SAP SAC Planning with hands-on experience (ideally 3+ full lifecycle implementations).
  • Expertise in SAC planning solution design and workflow approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of integration with Datasphere and external data acquisition.
  • Previous experience with BPC Classic and planning cycles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Desirable:
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori analytical apps and KPI tiles.
  • Exposure to compliance reporting and Australian Government frameworks.
  • Degree in Finance, Information Management, or related field.
