About the Role:
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Salesforce User Experience Designer / User Interface Designer. This is a long-term contract role for an initial 12-month duration with two 12-month extension options, located at our client’s ACT office in a hybrid working arrangement.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Support the elicitation of business requirements and user persona journeys for system changes and enhancements
- Prepare wireframe designs and/or prototypes using tools like Visio
- Plan and implement ongoing end user research and analysis throughout project and BAU stages
- Design Salesforce Public Sector Solution interfaces using Lightning and Omnistudio
- Ensure designs comply with WCAG 2.0 and Federal Government Digital Experience Policy
- Produce documentation including UX requirements, research outputs, and compliance assessments
- Champion UX in all project phases and stakeholder engagements
- Support change management and user adoption including training environments and materials
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Salesforce user experience design
- Expertise in:
- UX principles with Salesforce UX Designer certification
- Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
- Salesforce Lightning and Omnistudio for portal and console design
- WCAG 2.0 accessibility design and compliance
- Prototyping/mock-up tools like Visio
- Experience designing in compliance with the Federal Government Digital Experience Policy
- Minimum NV1 security clearance
It is desirable if you have:
- Knowledge of ADKAR, Kotter, Prosci, or ACMP change management methodologies within Agile and Prince2 environments
- Experience producing Salesforce in-app training, e-learning modules, training videos, and user guides
- Capability to lead and support ongoing change management and user adoption
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with existing NV1 security clearance.
