We are working in partnership with an Australian financial organisation for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator opportunity.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.
- Work on Data Connect integration to ensure seamless and secure data flows between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external systems.
- Build and maintain automations, data imports/exports, and subscriber management processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, CRM, Data) to support campaign execution and ensure accurate data segmentation.
- Monitor system health, performance, and usage – troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
- Support user access control, roles, and platform security.
- Assist in decommissioning of legacy platforms (Unica and Acoustic) and contribute to data migration and mapping efforts.
- Document technical configurations, processes, and standards.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally be:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator (Certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of SFMC configuration, data models, and integration best practices.
- Solid experience in SQL, AMPscript, and automation workflows within SFMC.
- Exposure to Data Connect or similar data integration tools.
- Experience with or knowledge of Unica and Acoustic platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
