The Role
Salesforce Migration Architect to Oversee the design, governance, and delivery of integrations between Salesforce and a wide range of enterprise systems Collaborate with multiple integration partners:
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture and design of all Salesforce-related integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise data and security standards.
  • Manage and provide technical oversight to internal integration developers  and coordinate delivery across the organisation and vendor teams.
  • Define and maintain integration strategy, standards, documentation, and assurance frameworks across both batch and real-time workstreams.
  • Engage with external partner systems (e.g., UAC, VTAC, Studylink, OzHost, NESA, Zed Payment Gateway) to obtain technical specifications, resolve interface issues, and ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Provide guidance on integration best practices, data mapping, error handling, and performance optimization.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for integration-related issues during design, build, and testing phases.
  • Support change management by ensuring clear communication and impact assessment of integration changes across the ecosystem.
  • Performing batch integrations using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • real-time integrations using FastAPI and the MuleSoft integration layer
 
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in designing and delivering enterprise integrations, particularly involving Salesforce and multiple legacy or third-party systems.
  • Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), API management, and data orchestration within hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth2, and related security/authentication protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and stakeholders across technical and business domains.
  • Experience leading integration efforts in complex, multi-party, and ambiguous environments, with a focus on delivery assurance and alignment to enterprise architecture.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
 
Highly Desirable
Experience with MuleSoft, FastAPI, or similar middleware platforms.
Background in higher education, CRM transformation s
Familiarity with data governance and privacy compliance frameworks.
